The UBO's joint animal enclosure provides academic research teams with centralised housing and animal experimentation on rodents (mice and rats), in accordance with European Directive 2010/63/EU pertaining to animal experimentation. The animal enclosure was certified by veterinary services, and includes two confinement sectors: A1 and A2. Its task is to provide the scientific community with equipment and know-how complying with sanitary and ethical regulations aligned with European legislation.
